Eat Light

It is recommended to avoid eating just before a massage session. Your body needs time to digest your meal prior to receiving a massage so that you feel comfortable and your body is able to fully relax. If you must eat something prior to receiving a massage, it is ideal to consume a very light snack or preferably a liquid rather than a large or heavy meal.
